Topic:  Communication Mindsets

Our mindsets affect all aspects of our lives and infuse the way we interact with other human beings. Mindsets can have a true impact on relationships and business. In this 90-minute virtual program, learners will be prompted to profile their personal styles and examine the strengths and weaknesses that align with being labeled as ‘achievers’, ‘doers’, ‘strugglers’ and/or ‘thinkers.’

You will learn why the ability to communicate effectively is helped or hindered by mindsets after taking an honest look at your own qualities. It will be important to determine if you have a fixed or growth mindset and to classify certain personality traits that can also present themselves as flaws. Nic will describe characteristics and actions of achievers, doers, strugglers, and thinkers using real life scenarios and humor. Next, Bittle will explain how to merge his recommended communication strategies with each proposed mindset. Nic will reinforce the importance of participating equally as an active listener and speaker. The ability to recognize other’s mindsets and making a few simple changes will give you the advantage of becoming the best communicator in all aspects of your life, especially your career.
