Stress Management

Course Description

Stress is an unavoidable part of life. From time to time, we all experience increased levels of stress. However, if left untreated, stress can continue to build and become unmanageable. Regardless of which type of stressor, everyone can learn healthy habits and coping skills to effectively manage stress on an ongoing basis. Stress management is an important topic given the unique stressors one faces working in the mechanical industry. A master level counselor will provide training on the following concepts:

  • Definitions of stress in the workplace, community and home
  • Unique stressors in the construction industry
  • Various techniques for managing stress, before it manages you
  • Ongoing support and community resources
